About The Fund
The Brocklehurst Neurosurgical Fund supports promotion of neurosurgical practice in the county of East Yorkshire and the neighbouring counties by the purchase and maintenance of research equipment and the provision of facilities for teaching.
The fund continues to actively raise money from many sources, including former patients, the general
public and the business community for use in its charitable work. Should you wish to support the fund,

“ Their efforts are invaluable to us and the people we serve. We’re incredibly grateful for the lengths they go to for our unit but more importantly to help us improve care for our patients ”
Our History
Established in 1982 by leading neurosurgeon Gordon Brocklehurst, the fund has used the considerable charitable funds raised through fund-raising activities and donations to purchase neurosurgical equipment at Hull Royal Infirmary, as well as helping provide training and educational material for medical staff.
